Kiteretsu is a scientific genius boy with a companion robot named Korosuke. He frequently travels through time with his friends and Korosuke using the time machine he built. Miyoko, who lives nearby, is essentially his girlfriend. Tongari, like Honekawa Suneo, shares some traits with him but is also Kiteretsu's rival. Buta Gorilla, or Kumada Kaoru, is a typical neighborhood bully and has similarities to Gian (Takeshi Goda) except that he often antagonizes Korosuke, despite them being in grade school.
