Gundam Seed Special Edition movies are three TV films that compile episodes from the Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED series. These movies were designed to provide an alternative perspective on the storyline of the TV show. The special edition episodes include all 50 episodes of the original series, as well as some new scenes and adjustments to previously animated sequences. The first movie, titled "The Empty Battlefield," was released in two parts in March 2004 and covered episodes 1-21 of the series. The second special edition film, "The Far-Away Dawn," aired in July 2004 and included episodes 22-40. Finally, "The Rumbling Sky" was released in August 2004 and featured episodes 41-50. While the storyline remains largely unchanged, there are some minor adjustments throughout the series. Additionally, several scenes have been reanimated and redubbed to provide a fresh perspective on the events depicted in the original TV show.
