In the waning days of autumn, Chidori Yoshino from Strega kidnaps Junpei Iori. Meanwhile, Makoto Yuuki and the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) eliminate the Arcana Hanged Man. Following this event, a wealthy playboy named Ryouji Mochizuki enrolls in Gekkoukan High Schools Class 2-F. Although SEES believes they have accomplished their objective and are now free from the relentless conflict that has claimed numerous lives among their loved ones, Tartarus and the Dark Hour persist unabated despite the extermination of the twelfth Shadow. Disheartened by their perceived failure, SEES grapples with personal turmoil while striving to ascertain whose cause they champion. As Makoto and Junpeis journeys towards self-discovery unfold, Ryoujis identity and the motive behind Aegiss animosity against him come to light.
