The central theme of the story revolves around a child-like being named Shu who was encountered in the first episode. This character possesses unique water abilities that can be activated using her pendant. However, she no longer desires humans to utilize these powers for general purposes, including those intended by Hamdo. Each application of her abilities weakens her physically, and she has discovered that initial gratitude quickly turns into violence when she refuses to comply with their requests. Despite being rarely talkative and showing little emotion, Shu's actions drive the plot forward.
