Murao Mima  

According to Key, Dr. Mima is both his "Creator" and "Grandfather." He is a pioneer in the field of robotics but was unable to create a self-willed robot until he encountered Tomiko (Dr. Mima's granddaughter) and her Geist in Mamio Valley. Through Toyoko, Dr. Mima obtained a liquid manifestation of her and her mother's supernatural powers, which he used as "gasoline" for his dolls/robots. However, Toyoko did not wish the same fate for her daughter Tokiko, so Dr. Mima suppressed all supernatural powers in Tokiko by hiding the extracted gel inside her, resulting in the loss of her human consciousness. As a result, Key believes that Tokiko is another robot created by Dr. Mima.
