The anime revolves around mecha and presents a new take on ten aspiring idols as fighter pilots for giant robots known as IDOLs. These pilots, referred to as Idolmasters, embark on missions to safeguard Earth from lunar debris. Initially hesitant, Haruka Amami aces her audition and is dispatched to Tokyo to kick-start her entertainment career. Unbeknownst to her, the agency responsible for her recruitment serves as a front for an elite task force that employs robots in the fight against extraterrestrial threats. Similarly, Yukiho Hagiwara and Iori Minase are also taken under the wing of this clandestine organization.
