Yuu honed his archery skills at his grandfather's dojo before meeting Hajime. Afterwards, they both joined their school's archery club with the goal of competing nationally. Although Yuu is incredibly talented at archery, he is not actually interested in participating in tournaments. In reality, joining the club was motivated by Yuu's secret feelings for Hajime.
