Six episodes that summarize the plot of the anime series "Tatakae! Chou Robot Seimeitai Transformers Victory" were released directly to home video after it finished airing on national Japanese TV. These episodes are sometimes labeled as episodes 39-44, and while they were not included in the Pioneers DVD re-release in 2003, all of them have been included in later releases. The final episode of these recaps also incorporates footage from "Transformers Headmasters" and "Transformers: Choujin Master Force," which are repurposed as new events that occur concurrently with the storyline.
