Despite experiencing trauma from seeing his parents murdered by a choushuu at the hands of one of their own, ichimura tetsunosukes desire for revenge led him to seek strength. at 15 years old, he approached the shinsengumi with the intention of becoming a member. however, tetsunosuke lacked the necessary skills, mindset and emotional detachment required to effectively carry out their mission as peacekeepers. despite having his brother's support and new friendships within the group, tetsunosuke was unprepared for the violence and suffering that would come with being a part of this historical organization.
