In Maburaho, every individual is born with magical abilities and labeled as magicians. However, each person's magical power varies, with those who have a higher count receiving more respect. This power is determined by traits and genetics at birth, so individuals from famous magician lineages are highly sought after. Despite having the lowest magic count in Aoi Academy, Kazuki Shikimori faces discrimination from his classmates due to this perceived worthlessness as a magician. However, his bloodline boasts of many great magicians throughout history, meaning that while he may not be an exceptional magician himself, his descendants could potentially possess remarkable abilities. This attracts three young women: Yuna Miyama, who declares herself his wife upon arrival; Rin Kamishiro, a proud swordswoman from a traditional family seeking to kill him for her freedom; and Kuriko Kazetsubaki, an influential family member attempting to seduce him for his genes. Now, Kazuki must navigate the jealousy of his male peers as well as various women pursuing him for different reasons.
