Kaede is an eighth-grade student who is outgoing and full of energy, but she struggles with boys. On her way home from school one day, she stumbled upon a peculiar shop and purchased a vibrant cocoa mug. Upon arriving at her residence, she cautiously examined the bottom of the mug and discovered an inscribed message that read: "If you recite this note aloud while pouring hot cocoa into the mug, a love fairy (muglox) will manifest and grant your every wish." Despite being skeptical but intrigued, Kaede followed the instructions and declared her desire to date Yuuki, the school's most popular heartthrob. To her astonishment, the delightful blue Mirumo materialized! However, it soon became apparent that this charming little muglox preferred eating chocolate and causing chaos rather than assisting Kaede in achieving her goal. It was revealed that Mirumo was the prince of the muglox realm, and he had fled his kingdom to avoid marrying Rirumu, his princess bride-to-be. Hot on his heels were Rirumu, Yashichi the bounty hunter, and a diverse array of muglox ranging from benevolent to malicious to eccentric. This lively group of troublemakers would forever alter the school experience for Kaede and her companions.
