The Cowboy Bebop anime series faced cancellation due to violent content in both its world and Japanese schools. To conclude the first thirteen episodes, an extra session titled "Session XX: Mish-Mash Blues" was aired on TV Tokyo on June 26, 1998. This episode featured clips from previous episodes and included philosophical commentary from the characters.
