Following his recovery from personal turmoil, Daigo Shigeno remains committed to playing baseball and is now the captain of Fuurin Private Academy Middle School's baseball team. Along with Mutsuko Sakura, his childhood friend, Daigo strives to lead his team to success. However, unforeseen circumstances reduce Fuurin's baseball team to six members: Daigo, Mutsuko, Yayoi Sawa, Tao Sagara, Seira Kandori, and Hiromu Tanba. With mostly female players and limited experience, the team faces difficulties gaining confidence and trust from new recruits-Akira Nishina, Anita Kabashima, and Chisato Fujii. Despite these challenges, including the absence of a proper coach, problematic new recruits, and a small team size, Daigo remains determined to unite his team in time for their first tournament.
