The Europan Imperial Alliance is expanding westward and invades the neutral Principality of Gallia to gain control over its Ragnite deposits. With their technological superiority, military might, and strategic advantage, opposition is nonexistent as they easily steamroll through Gallia's border. Welkin Gunther and his younger sister Isara jump into action when Imperial forces run through their quiet hometown. They join the local militia leader to push back against the occupational forces. The newly formed Squad Seven retreats to the Gallian capital, where they are tasked with repelling the Imperial presence from the country. Despite being unfamiliar with war, Squad Seven must defend their nation from annexation.
