In November 2008, SEGAs website published an ONA called "Sonic: Night of the Werehog" as part of the promotion for the release of Sonic World Adventure in North America and Europe. The game follows Sonic and Chip as they explore an abandoned haunted house on a rainy night. They soon become entangled with two mischievous ghosts who scare visitors to take their pictures and impress a ghost girl living there. Despite being scared out of his wits, Sonic remains unphased by the ghosts' antics. Frustrated, the two ghosts join forces to get the best of him. Can Sonic stop them with the help of the full moon?
