The anime adaptation of the 4-panel manga series "Nyoron Churuya-san" follows the lively and energetic character Tsuruya from Suzumiya Haruhis world. Tsuruya is a girl with an intense love for smoked cheese, which Kyon and his crew exploit by using it as a potential reward for completing tasks. Despite being unaware of their nefarious plan, Tsuruya continues to strive for her beloved cheese each day, facing greater challenges than she ever anticipated.
This spin-off won the Network Award at the 14th Animation Kobe Awards, along with Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuuutsu.
