The 8th DVD of Clannad ~After Story~ contains an additional episode that takes place in a different universe. In this version, Fujibayashi Kyou is the main heroine instead of Furukawa Nagisa. Love can be both thrilling and agonizing. Ryou, Kyous sister, is smitten with Okazaki Tomoya, the male protagonist. With Kyou's encouragement, she musters up the courage to ask him out. Now, Tomoya and Ryou are a couple. However, as their relationship develops, Kyou starts to realize her own feelings for Tomoya, leading to a love triangle. Eventually, the sisters come face-to-face with the pains of love and have to make a difficult decision: whether to choose Tomoya or each other.
Clannad: After Story - Mou Hitotsu no Sekai, Kyou-hen was included in the eighth and final compilation DVD of Clannad: After Story, released on July 1, 2009.
