In the 21st century, due to ongoing environmental degradation, the United Nations appoints a private corporation known as "Eternal Earth" to construct an artificial jungle. This man-made oasis serves as a sanctuary for wildlife and is intended to safeguard endangered species. The animals residing in this synthetic ecosystem lead comfortable lives, free from the harsh realities of the outside world.
Among these creatures is Leo, the offspring of Panja, who was born within this artificial habitat. Despite being surrounded by lush vegetation and abundant resources, Leo's idyllic existence has led him to become complacent and indifferent, often disregarding the plight of his fellow animals. His peers mock him for his perceived cowardice, contrasting him with his illustrious father, the Jungle Emperor. However, Leo remains resolute in his determination to prove himself worthy of his lineage one day.
On the other hand, Kenichi, the son of Eternal Earth's CEO, is filled with optimism and confidence about the success of this artificial ecosystem. The narrative unfolds when Leo and Kenichi encounter each other for the first time. As they engage in conversation, Kenichi discovers that he possesses a unique ability to comprehend the language of animals. This newfound understanding allows him to gain insight into their thoughts and feelings, ultimately fostering empathy and compassion towards his fellow creatures.
