Yusuke Urameshi is not typically considered an angelic being. In fact, some individuals might even describe him as devilish. However, after passing away in a tragic accident while attempting to save a child, he finds himself in the Spirit World. Unfortunately for Yusuke, his name was not included in the Book of Enma, which resulted in a significant error. As a result, he must return from the Spirit World and complete several tests before being able to assume the role of a detective within the spiritual realm. In his current position as a half-dead, half-alive agent for Koenma, son of the ruler of the Spirit World, Yusuke faces numerous challenges, particularly during his summer vacation when Koenma is kidnapped. In order to rescue him and secure his release, Yusuke must interrupt his leisure time and embark on a quest to locate Magma Valley, where he will uncover the source of the evil conspiracy that threatens the Spirit World. Along with the assistance of his closest companions, Yusuke is determined to save Koenma's life and bring justice to those responsible for this nefarious plot.
