While Laura goes off to summer camp, Hamtaro and Oxnard encounter a young girl named Haibi, who is on a quest to locate the ocean. She stumbled upon a treasure map while rummaging through the storage burrow and now seeks to unearth the treasure in order to aid her weary grandmother. The Ham-Hams, eager to lend their assistance, gather their belongings and embark on a journey to discover the treasure.
