The story's central conflict involves the Yamata Empires plan to eliminate all galaxies' negative karma using the Naaga Generator. However, negative karma cannot be eradicated; it must be redeemed. Meanwhile, the leader of the Fuze Clan aims to halt this destruction and prevent the creation of the nine-headed Naaga, which could destroy the world or even the universe if not stopped. To aid in this effort, the clan invokes Susano, the Shinto god of war and destruction. Despite his power, arrogance, and homicidal tendencies, Susano faces challenges such as opposition from the Empire and the clan leader's daughter, Seska, who is possessed by negative karma and wields a powerful magic formula.
