"Satsuriku no Deep Blue" is a different adaptation of the 1997 Kindaichi TV series' arc. Akane, Miyuki, and Fumi are invited to the Deep Blue Island resort by their senpai, who happens to be the daughter of Aizawa Group's president. The criminals infiltrate the hotel posing as waiters with the intent to kill members of the Aizawa family. However, they don't know their boss personally and are unaware that he is also present at the resort along with the other group members.
