The story revolves around a manga by mitsunaga yasunori that was serialized in monthly shounen sirius. it follows the character of hiyorimi hiro, who moves to a new city to live with his older sister but passes away before finding her. after his death, he wakes up as a servant of a princess from the monster realm, whose sister is also working for her. the princess is in line for the royal throne and monsters begin to appear to attack or pester her. as a result, hiro must protect her with his life (and multiple deaths).
