According to Tsutaya Online, the DVD release date for Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen is December 15th. The limited edition will include a new special as well. In the episode "Ben Johnson," it's a running gag where the animation staff reuse New Year's footage. While Yorozuya sits around the kotatsu eating tangerines, they discuss complex topics. Shinpachi complains about using recycled animation, and then Gintoki ends the gag with an unnecessary announcement.
