Scientist Zorndyke has developed a new species that thrives in ocean environments and poses a threat to humans. He believes it's time for humans to relinquish their dominance on Earth. The Blue Submarine No. 6 and the rest of the Blue fleet are tasked with stopping Zorndyke's madness and his creations.

Ao no 6-gou won the Packaged Work Award at the 1999 Animation Kobe Awards.
