Kodaka Hasegawa has moved schools and is struggling to make friends due to his blond hair giving off a delinquent vibe. One day, while Yozora was talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo, they both realized that neither of them had any real friends. They decided to form a club called "Rinjinbu," specifically for people who have difficulty making friends. As other lonely classmates joined their little club, they planned to learn how to build relationships through cooking together, playing games, and engaging in group activities.
