In Hinamizawa, a small village where Rika Furude and her friends reside, there is an underlying darkness that Rika understands well. Despite appearances of peace, unspeakable horrors have occurred in this eternal summer. Each time the clock restarts, Rika must find the villain responsible for these senseless deaths before tragedy strikes again. However, when only half the clues are present, solving mysteries is challenging, and her attempts to change the situation always fail. As the annual festival approaches, Rika's hope turns into despair as she struggles with fate's chains that bind them all.
