On a rainy spring day, midori saezima, a first-year high schooler, saw an attractive fellow student taking care of a stray kitten. at first glance, she was smitten with him without knowing his name. despite being sick and returning to school three days after summer vacation, midori discovered that she had been chosen as a candidate for the student council. after experiencing several humiliating incidents, both she and akira sudo, whom she admired from afar, were elected as members of the student council. as the first student council of their new high school, they would establish new customs and create a bittersweet love story for themselves.
