Self Portrait, Osamu Tezuka's Self-Portrait, 自画像

The short movie that Osamu Tezuka produced in response to a challenge issued by the global animation industry's leaders for them to make an animated representation of themselves is known as this film.

Nineteen animators from five countries collaborated on a project to animate their own faces. The results were screened at various animation festivals in each of the representatives' home countries. Osamu Tezuka was one of the three Japanese animators to participate.Jigazou was shown at the Zagreb International Animation Film Festival in June 1988.
