On New Year's Day, instead of studying like she should have been doing, Nana went to a shrine. When she arrived, she was surprised to find that all the other Nanas were also there. However, things took a turn for the worse when they realized their New Year's money had disappeared in the crowd. To make matters even more difficult, they tried an unconventional method of earning additional funds but it did not help them in their predicament.

Shichinin no Nana: Oshougatsu Da yo! 7 x 7 = 49-nin no Nana? was included with the sixth volume of the Shichinin no Nana DVD, released by AnimeWorks on May 31, 2005, and in the complete Blu-ray collection released by Media Blasters on June 8, 2021.
