In this animated series called "Meitantei Conan," the Detective Boys go on a trip with Ran to explore the Jomon Period of Japan. This era is considered the earliest in Japanese history. This special episode was included as part of a package deal with "Nijuuisseiki Kodomo Hyakka Rekishi-kan," which is essentially a children's history museum. To create this episode, animators used live-action footage as background while adding animated characters on top of it.
