The special edition BD release includes an additional episode that was not previously aired. According to school principal Ryuko, the school is considering Taiwan as a potential destination for the upcoming school trip. Given Taiwan's reputation as one of only a few advanced cycling nations, she directs the cycling club to visit Taiwan as part of a preliminary inspection. However, upon arriving in Taiwan, Hiromi and Sandy become separated from the rest of the group.
