The members of Shuchiin Academy's student council continue with their competitive daily activities. Council president Miyuki Shirogane and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya engage in a daily battle for supremacy, each trying to outdo the other in order to confess their romantic love. Despite her strict upbringing within a wealthy and uptight family, Kaguya begins to warm up to Shirogane and her friends as she rebels against her cold default demeanor. Meanwhile, council treasurer Yuu Ishigami struggles with his unrequited crush on Tsubame Koyasu, an upperclassman who helps him develop newfound confidence. New student council member Miko Iino forms a closer bond with rule-breaking Ishigami while grappling with her own authoritarian moral code. As love blossoms at Shuchiin Academy, the student council officers drag their outsider friends into increasingly humorous conflicts.
