In a world where monster invasions are commonplace and frequent, being an adventurer is highly sought after for its honor and fame. A young human warrior named Alvin aims to start his career by completing a low-level quest from the guild. On his way, he encounters a magical bear and finds himself in a difficult situation. Luckily, a dark elf healer named Karla appears and offers assistance despite being unaware of the circumstances around her. Despite her eccentric personality, Alvin manages to convince her to help him. Unfortunately, instead of healing him, she casts a curse that will kill him if he strays too far from her. Regardless, Alvin remains determined to become a full-fledged adventurer with Karla by his side, although their journey may be easier or more challenging depending on Karlas mood.
