Due to their family's martial arts background, jin kazama and his mother jun have faced numerous challenges. despite having a strong bond, they are no match for the fearsome demon that attacks their home, seeking revenge against jun. with jun cornered by such an obstinate creature, she commands jin to locate his grandfather heihachi mishima before disappearing with the demon in an explosion. upon arriving at his grandfather's residence, jin is treated as a stranger from another lineage. however, after discovering that ogre was responsible for the kazama family tragedy, heihachi accepts jin under his guidance and trains him intensely. driven by vengeance, jin harnesses his blood, sweat, and tears to develop his fists' power, all in pursuit of ogre's destruction.

Tekken: Bloodline is based on and loosely adapts the events of Bandai Namco Entertainments fighting video game Tekken 3.
