In a hospital, after waking up from a coma lasting 203 days, Minato Kiyomizu learns he has lost all memory of middle school. He discovers his past glory in water polo and wants to continue playing. However, realizing the significant difference between his old self and current one, he starts intensive rehabilitation to begin anew without water polo. But soon, he is reminded of his promise on his first day at Yamanami High School and joins the school's water polo club despite being aware of his inadequacy. To attain a seven-man roster, he and his teammates recruit new members while rekindling his talent for water polo to become one of Japan's renowned players once again.
Re-Main is also streamed on the Ani-One Asia channel on Youtube.Episode three of the anime was delayed for one week due to the special broadcast of the British Open 2021.
