A movie adaptation of the TV series with new scenes and different perspectives has been compiled by Kakushi Gotou. The artist is known for his inappropriate content, which led him to keep his profession hidden from his daughter Hime when she was born out of fear that she would be disillusioned if she found out. This paranoia caused Kakushi to engage in extreme measures to protect his secret, such as pretending to be a salaryman and holding emergency drills at work. The story of Kakushigoto revolves around a father-daughter relationship where the father tries to maintain their peaceful existence while keeping Hime unaware of the reality behind her upbringing. However, time eventually reveals all secrets, and Hime must come to terms with the truth about her father's profession.
