A sixteen-year-old named Maise Higa spends her summer days working at her family's hotel, which is quite boring. However, everything changes when she meets a mysterious boy named Ichirou Suzuki who seems to be haunted by supernatural events. As they interact, Maise finds herself in an alternate reality where hotel rooms can turn into the ocean and banyan trees can sprout indoors out of nowhere. Intrigued, Maise decides to join Ichirou on his quest to uncover the secrets behind these unexplained phenomena.
