In a new life as a Beastkin, a nameless sword discovers that he was once human before being reincarnated. He uses his telekinesis powers to explore this new world and develop various skills. When the sword encounters a forest inhabited by monsters, it meets Fran, who is fleeing from a monster. The sword effortlessly defeats the beast with Fran's help. She names him "Shishou" and becomes his official wielder. As they embark on their adventure together, Fran, a member of the Black Cat Tribe, hopes to become stronger than any other Beastkin in her tribe by fulfilling her parents' dream. Shishou pledges to remain with Fran until she achieves this goal, forming an unbreakable bond between them.
