After the chaotic cultural festival, Masamune Makabe focuses on his mission of making "Cruel Princess" Aki Adagaki fall deeply for him and then quickly dump her. Paris, known as the City of Love, presents the perfect opportunity for Masamune to enact his revenge during a school trip. However, before he can win Aki over, they encounter Muriel Besson, a French high school otaku who aspires to create a romantic comedy manga series featuring Masamune as the main character. Muriel requests Masamune's assistance in developing her manga series, which he reluctantly agrees to do with Aki present to provide inspiration for the love interest character. To demonstrate Japanese love to Muriel, Masamune and Aki must showcase their romantic relationship. However, complications arise as Kanetsugu Gasou disguises himself as Aki's childhood friend, Masamune, in order to manipulate her and further complicate Masamune's revenge plan.
Masamune-kun no Revenge R was released on Blu-ray in two volumes from September 20, 2023, to October 25, 2023.
