The Shadowverse game has a new protagonist named Light Tenryu and its story takes place at Shadovar College, which is where players receive training. As a transfer student, Light decides to join Seventh Flame, one of the seven clubs in the college. However, this club is facing closure because it doesn't have enough members. To prevent the club from shutting down, Light goes out to find new members. But he soon discovers that his rivals control a wide range of cards and pose a significant challenge.
