Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai were two individuals who shared a love for literature but had different personalities. Despite this, they seemed like a perfect match at first. However, as time went on, their differences grew, leading to them separating after middle school graduation. To their surprise, fate brought them back together as step-siblings. This led to a rivalry between the former couple, with both unwilling to acknowledge each other's older sibling status. In an attempt to resolve this issue, they agreed on a rule: whoever crossed the boundaries of siblinghood norms would lose, and the winner would be called the older sibling and get to make a request. However, living under the same roof brought back memories that may have influenced their actions and possibly rekindled feelings that were not fully extinguished in the past.
