According to a rumor that Kaoru Tono has heard, the Urashima Tunnel disregards the laws of space and time. If one can locate it, they must walk through it in order to obtain their heart's desire on the other side. However, this comes at a cost: years of one's own life are required as payment. One evening, Kaoru stumbles upon a tunnel that appears identical to the one described in the rumor. He is reminded of Karen, his sister who passed away five years ago in an accident. To Kaoru's surprise, he finds himself being followed by Anzu Hanashiro, a new transfer student who promises to assist him in experimenting with the enigmatic tunnel. However, what does Anzu want from Kaoru in exchange for her assistance? And will there be anything left of Kaoru after the tunnel has taken its toll on him?
