In the 21st century, humanity discovered a new energy source called "dg energy" that transformed earth's economy and enabled space colonization. however, during an initial expedition to pluto, the crew was attacked by a mysterious giant life-form known as "nergal." the earth alliance army responded with an "ag unit," which used ancient robot weapons called "gs frame" excavated from worldwide archaeological sites. these robots were piloted by girls with special qualities known as "ancient girls." despite heavy casualties in the jupiter trojan campaign, reiu's sister, minamiya reika, enlisted with the ag unit to search for her missing-in-action sibling and protect earth from nergal. the story follows their journey filled with friendship, ancient robot weapons, and intense battles against the formidable nergal.
