Kanon Shibuya has a dream of becoming a musician but suffers from stage fright, which prevents her from making it into Yuigaoka Girls High School's music program. Despite quitting music altogether, her classmate Tang Keke rekindles her passion for school idols and encourages her to form a group with her. However, their efforts face opposition from Ren Hazuki, the daughter of the schools director, who strongly objects to the formation of a school idol club. The girls visit the director and convince him to allow them to set up their club under one condition: they must win first place at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. Throughout their journey, Kanon and her friends face challenges that test their resilience as they work towards becoming dazzling idols others can only imagine.
