In 1968, a Phantom Moon was observed worldwide. At that time, Taku Nakajo, a young boy, accompanied his father on an important business call. There, he met Louis Boudre and David Flight, two humans with supernatural abilities who taught him telekinesis. Later, they were all kidnapped by a mysterious individual and transported 500 million years back in time to the moon. On the moon, Taku encountered Price Noman and became part of the Noman Rangers, tasked with stopping an intergalactic war between humans and aliens. The pilot for this series was only 12 minutes and 20 seconds long and was never serialized due to financial reasons. Another show made around the same time, Zero Man, was cancelled early into production because Mushi Pro struggled to fund it. Despite being nearly three times as long as Zero Man, the Noman pilot's production may have been challenging financially for Mushi Pro.
