Nian Bing is an orphan who possesses both fire and ice magic after losing his parents, killed by the Ice Lord. He was attempting to flee from the Ice Lord's followers when he cast both types of magic simultaneously, a feat that no mage can achieve. Despite falling unconscious and being saved by an oldman, Nian Bing is now determined to become a chef under this wise mentor. The oldman, known as a genius chef or spirit chef in the past, has offered to take Nian Bing as his disciple regardless of any circumstances. While seeking vengeance against the Ice Lord, Nian Bing also aims to master the art of cooking and become the greatest chef possible.
