Gon, an orphaned fox with a playful nature, discovers that young Hyoju has lost his mother. In order to console him, Gon secretly gives small gifts to the boy every day as a way of making amends for past mischief. However, Hyoju is unaware of who is behind these anonymous gestures, and their relationship eventually leads to a tragic outcome.
