Natsumi Mizuki is a fourth grader whose parents have gone to London, leaving her alone in their home. To make matters worse, an aspiring manga writer named Aunt Izumi arrives to live with her. With no time for a baby that appears out of nowhere on Natsumis first night alone, Izumi decides not to keep Mirai, the babys name and mother who has traveled back in time from 15 years in the future. Now, young Natsumi must raise Mirai while trying to maintain her fourth-grade life and keep the existence of her baby secret from everyone. She receives some help from Izumi and futuristic baby care gadgets.
