After losing a battle against the leader of the Beimu clan, Shen Qiao falls off a cliff and is badly injured. He then comes across the ruthless leader of the Cleansing Moon sect, Yan Wushi, who has an evil plan for him. Instead of being turned into a vengeful cultivator like Yan Wushi intends, Shen Qiao must navigate a world full of deceit and betrayal that challenges his previously held beliefs about good existing in everyone.
